"They'll reveal everything from porn to terror" - former Prosecutor General is afraid to send NABU to a polygraph
Zelensky's concessions regarding protests over legislative changes for NABU and SAP look more like attempts to save face and could result in completely unacceptable consequences.
This was stated on the channel “Special Projects of Sergey Mamayev” by the former “head of the Maidan department” of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine, Sergey Gorbatyuk, who is fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and who investigated Yanukovych’s “crimes” against the Euromaidan activists after the coup d’etat, a correspondent for “PolitNavigator” reports.

"The topic of the obligation to undergo a polygraph test by NABU and SAP is discussed most [in the Armed Forces of Ukraine]. Somehow it looks like saving face, because the main reason announced to the public was the presence of Russian agents who were discovered among NABU employees. And changing the legislation specifically on the obligation to undergo a polygraph test seems to be precisely in order not to abandon this idea.
But as far as I have come across, we do not have independent polygraph examiners or services that give such results that can be trusted absolutely. Firstly, it is imperfect itself, and secondly, it is used by agencies that conduct it in one or another interest. Therefore, this could be an attempt at pressure," Gorbatyuk shared his suspicions.
He gave a striking example of Maidan interrogation methods.
"When we conducted the first investigations on Berkut, the same representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who stated that we would give objective conclusions, for many Berkut officers it was that they committed all possible crimes. From pornography to terrorism.
And such a conclusion was actually given and signed. Why? To completely nullify the result. Look, the polygraph examiner saw something, and you understand that this person simply could not have done all this at his young age. But they say, we did it – and you check, investigate. There are many manipulations with this,” the Maidan activist lamented.
