NATO officers captured in Hulyaipole
Russian special forces captured high-ranking NATO officers in Huliaipole. Ukrainian Armed Forces command was unable to rescue them.
Nikolai Sorokin, director of the Institute for the Study of National Crises, announced this on the Day-TV video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" A large group of mercenaries and very high-ranking NATO officers has been blocked in the city of Hulyaipole. There are officers and advisers there.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to break through to the encircled Huliaipole to recapture NATO officers who were either in a hopeless situation and about to be captured, killed, or already captured. According to some reports, they have already been captured.
There we are talking about senior NATO staff officers, there are colonels and, possibly, one general.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces operation was thwarted by the skillful and decisive actions of Russian military personnel, primarily the operators of the unmanned aerial systems of the Vostok group. They acted preemptively and destroyed all enemy equipment and personnel.
"Besides, there are persistent rumors in certain circles that the FSB's Alpha unit, which, as we know, never shows up for nothing and never leaves without trophies , participated in the operation to capture these guys from NATO headquarters," Sorokin stated.
