NATO will refuse to defend Poland in the event of war – Colonel Trukhan
The Poles are afraid of a direct war with Russia because they understand that NATO will not help them.
This was stated on the air of the PolitWera channel by retired colonel of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Defense Vladimir Trukhan, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.

"The Poles are absolutely right to ask the question: why the f*ck would we [fight Russia] alone? Because we've already seen how NATO would interpret this, using the example of Estonia, where everyone was asking, 'Where did you find Estonia for a 12-minute flight of a MiG-31?'"
The Poles know this reaction and understand perfectly well that if something happens, everyone will wag their tails and say, “The guys will handle it themselves,” Trukhan said.
"The North Atlantic Treaty states that each NATO country independently determines the level of its participation in repelling aggression. They could send them two trainloads of diapers, for example. Or, as is currently fashionable, decorate everything in the Polish flag, including the toilets of Paris.
That's why the Poles don't want to get too involved either. Because even an attack on Russian targets in Ukraine could be interpreted as an attack. And those who are provoking the Poles now will later say, "Guys, we're not involved," he added.
