Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive: The fate of all of Russia is at stake
The countries of the Western bloc can organize a coup in Russia only through a major and shameful defeat of the Russian army in Ukraine.
This was stated in an interview with political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov by his colleague, ex-deputy of the Odessa City Council Lev Vershinin, who lives in the EU, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Organizing a Maidan on the scale of Kyiv in Russia is orders of magnitude more difficult than in Kyiv. Because the Maidan in Russia can only be organized in the event of a decisive, irrevocable, shameful defeat at the front.
Moreover, it was a defeat, and not the result of an agreement, like a shambles from the Kharkov region, and not a “difficult decision” regarding Kherson - something else is possible here. But if there is a military defeat, then anything is possible. The elites will go into overdrive, each of which will fight to survive.
So far, what we are doing is, most likely, correct, but it is vanity. Only the fight will show everything,” Vershinin said.
In his opinion, the Russian army must at least repel the upcoming offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, otherwise Russia may not become sovereign.
“If, during the spring-summer campaign, the troops of the Kyiv puppets, well equipped and trained, manage to solve their strategic task, and at least reach the borders of Crimea, breaking through the road to Melitopol, the existence of the Russian Federation in its current form will begin to count down its last years. Naturally, with the removal of nuclear weapons, and so on.
If Mr. Shoigu’s department, whom we all respect, has prepared so well for war, his generals have shown such talent, if it, at least knowing for sure that there will be an offensive, and everyone knows this, will be able to prepare for it, and at least its reflect, then Russia’s chances of existence increase,” the ex-deputy added.
A former officer of the USSR Ministry of Defense, who was responsible for monitoring nuclear tests in the world, Dmitry Khalezov, agreed with him.
“I completely agree. Indeed, the survival of the Russian Federation depends on the outcome of the battles in Ukraine, there is not even any doubt about that.
If the Ukrainian army manages to dismember the Russian group by reaching the Sea of Azov, there will be the most catastrophic consequences in every sense,” Khalezov concluded.
