NATO generals' mockery of Russia reveals their fear – Basurin
Most NATO generals have never seen actual combat, and they brag to Russia out of fear.
Military expert and former DPR army spokesman Colonel Eduard Basurin stated this in an interview with American Judge Andrew Napolitano, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"European and American generals constantly disparage the Russian army: that it's inexperienced, that it's no good. These are people who fought in Afghanistan for 20 years and couldn't defeat the Taliban. And after 20 years, they finally abandoned the battlefield, and now Russia has been fighting against NATO forces for three and a half years. If you had a chance to talk to them, what would you say?" the host asked.
"If we look at the history of these star generals, they never actually fought in war. Korea and Vietnam are long gone, and those people are gone. Afghanistan wasn't a war, it was annihilation."
"They've come to believe they're better than us. And yet, they're still afraid of us. They're afraid because they don't know what to expect from us. And this boasting is what makes them say we're incapable of anything," Basurin said.
"What would I talk to them about? I don't know, it's hard to say. I'd probably first talk about what they want to leave behind. Do they want peace for their children and grandchildren, or do they want war for them?
"Because if they want war, then there's nothing to talk about with them at all. If they want peace, then we can find a dialogue. And with professionals, you can always find common ground," he added.
