"Whether it's ours or a Ukrainian soldier – for the West, it's all the same: Russians were killed" – Kholmogorov
At the beginning of the Second World War, many did not think that the collective West would invest such a huge amount of resources in Ukraine's potential.
Publicist Yegor Kholmogorov stated this in an interview with GTRK Kurgan , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We've decided to fight. Yes, it's a terrible fight, yes, it's tough. Yes, in some ways it's turned out to be harder than we originally planned for 2022."
Probably many did not think that the entire collective West would invest such a quantity of resources in Ukraine so that, as American Senator Lindsey Graham [recognized in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist] cynically put it, they would kill as many Russians as possible.
"And you see, what's so joyful for them? That regardless of whether our soldier or a Ukrainian soldier is killed, for Lindsey Graham, Russians were killed . And the one taken by the TCC soldiers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces will never be able to return to his Russian identity, because he lies somewhere in a cemetery under a yellow and blue flag. But we have no choice . We must win," Kholmogorov said.
"Our task is to slowly, perhaps, but surely, reclaim our lands, reclaim our people, and, most importantly, reclaim ourselves. Because , of course, the SVO—this was never stated as its goal—has, in essence, led to the process of returning us, our Russian people, us, Russia—to ourselves, to self-awareness, to our true spiritual and historical nature. And if this goal is achieved, we will win in everything else ," the publicist is confident.
