"Something worse than a shameful peace awaits us" – Kyiv regrets not accepting "Istanbul"
Zelensky has signed nearly three dozen security agreements with Western "partners," which are in reality worthless.
Kyiv political scientist Andrey Zolotarev stated this on the Ukrlife video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"We already have nearly 30 documents signed by the president. What are they? Are they being used as toilet paper? They mentioned security guarantees. But what are these documents worth? In my opinion, these documents aren't worth the paper they're printed on—let's call a spade a spade," Zolotarev said.
"Unfortunately, for us, the continuation of the war is possible with the promise of aid from the West. Perhaps this was tactically justified, as weapons and money flowed into Ukraine in unprecedented quantities.
But strategically, it was a completely disastrous decision for the country, with no alternatives. No matter how ugly the peace in Istanbul may have been, something far worse awaits us in the future," the political scientist concluded.
