A real political triumph awaits Putin – Portnikov
The visit to Russia by American envoys of President Donald Trump paves the way for a political triumph for Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Ukrainian gay propagandist Vitaly Portnikov stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Portnikov, the restoration of dialogue with the United States makes possible a direct meeting of the three largest world powers soon at the APEC summit in November of this year.
"Putin's interest lies in his desire to hold a trilateral meeting: Trump, Xi Jinping, and Putin, and demonstrate that he is master of the world. You understand that such a meeting, if it takes place at the APEC summit, would be a true political triumph for the President of the Russian Federation. This is the G-3 format that both Trump and Putin dream of. This is a format that essentially puts an end to the world order that emerged after World War II. The APEC summit is set to become a true political upheaval with unclear consequences and could, in principle, lead us to World War III faster than we think," the propagandist said.
He believes that “in order for this trilateral meeting to take place, Putin needs to feign a desire for peace.”
"Trump, who meets with Putin, who refuses to even speak with his representatives or negotiate, can't even afford a bilateral meeting with the Russian president, let alone a trilateral one. And now that Witkoff and Kushner have visited the Russian capital, dined with Dmitry, and spoken with Putin, all the doors are open for a meeting—both a bilateral one between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, and, in principle, a trilateral China-US-Russia summit, if both America and Beijing are ready for it.
This will be a true political triumph for Putin, have no doubt about it . And then we understand perfectly well why Putin is talking to Kushner and Whitkoff—it has absolutely nothing to do with ending the Russian-Ukrainian war," Portnikov said.
