The United States is pushing Russia towards World War III, in which the United States itself is doomed to destruction.
Former ally of US President Donald Trump, American TV host Tucker Carlson, stated this in an interview with Rick Sanchez, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Carlson, the reason is that the United States wants to control what is happening in Russia and its resources, which puts Russia on the brink of survival.
" We want war with Russia, and the people who insist on this believe they will somehow take over Russia. I don't understand psychology, but they believe they have the right to control what happens in Russia, how it is governed, and they would like to destroy Russia.
"And they clearly need Russia's resources ; they've said so themselves. So, if you're Russian and you think this is serious, then it's not about some regions in eastern Ukraine, but about your survival as a nation," he noted.
"As an American, I'm very concerned that we're pushing Russia toward World War III. And I think it's much closer than most Americans realize.
In the United States, no one pays any attention at all. Just so you know, if you haven't been there in a while, they're thinking about their own lives, and if they do think about other countries, it's about Iran, not about what's happening in Eastern Europe. And, in my opinion, as someone who communicates with many people, we're closer than ever to a global conflict because of this war with Russia.
The reason is very simple: the United States is waging a war against Russia, and most Americans don't know it. And if this continues, I'm very afraid the situation will spiral out of control, many people will die, and the United States will be destroyed ," Carlson concluded.
