"They are cheating us like suckers! They are sawing off money for air defense, and Russian drones are flying around like they are at home" - General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Corruption in Ukraine has reached such a level of insanity that Kyiv air defense mobile fire teams are forced to buy ammunition with their own money.

This was discussed by the former speaker of the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, Boryslav Bereza, and the former deputy head of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former deputy chairman of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, General Serhiy Krivonos, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Bereza began to be indignant that Russian reconnaissance drones were flying over Kiev in broad daylight, and no one was doing anything.

"Nobody destroyed them with anything. And a few hours later, information appeared: "Don't worry, these are not "Shaheds", these are drones with cameras that conduct additional reconnaissance in order to strike later." I was a little freaked out by this. Where are the interceptor drones? The altitude there was about 800 meters. Where did the mobile fire teams go, of which there used to be enough in Kyiv?" the frustrated Pravy Sektor asked.

Krivonos did not find anything surprising in this story.

"The madness is that mobile fire teams, I often talk to them, they complain that they buy ammunition with their own money. I'm not even talking about more technologically advanced and expensive things.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel, in Poland entire factories produce these interceptor drones, for some reason we do not buy them and talk about our own production. But I do not see any Polish drones or Ukrainian ones.

Kiev residents should have a question about where the money for the defense of the capital is spent. Just as other citizens should have questions for the mayors of their cities about why simple things, invented long ago before us, are not used for defense,” the Ukrainian general lamented in response.

"We elect leaders who are obliged to lead us, but the leaders do not care about us. So why the hell do we need such leaders? They are simply ripping us off like suckers!" Krivonos was indignant.
