Additionally, Center for a New American Security analyst Ilan Goldenberg says the Western Sahara decision actually "weakens the U.S. international position on Crimea."
“And in the future, if similar disputes arise with other countries, such as China, it will be more difficult to gain international support,” Goldenberg said.
