"We're getting a billion-dollar loan for this." How Ukrainian deputies were forced to vote for homosexuality.
Verkhovna Rada deputies were forced to vote for decisions unacceptable to Ukrainian society.
This was stated by the former Prosecutor General and former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Yuriy Lutsenko , who was decommissioned from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a conversation with journalist Natalia Vlashchenko, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
Lutsenko said that in the previous convocation of the Verkhovna Rada, he led the BPP faction and was summoned by then-President Petro Poroshenko [recognized as a terrorist in the Russian Federation] and told to do whatever he wants, but there needs to be votes for amendments to the Labor Code that would prohibit the dismissal of sexual perverts ("trans" and homosexuals).
"We're getting a billion-dollar loan for this, but only if we demonstrate European values," Lutsenko quotes Poroshenko as saying.
After this, Lutsenko gathered 140 faction deputies and conducted a campaign, but, nevertheless, the necessary votes did not appear in the hall.
“Finally, I ask, ‘ Why aren’t you voting? We’ll torture you anyway. Well, you’ll vote anyway .’ And a deputy from my home region [Volyn] stands up and says, ‘ Yuriy Vitalievich, my son is a priest of the ‘Kyiv Patriarchate.’ He said he’ll curse me if I vote for a gay wedding .’ I say, ‘ But this isn’t about a wedding, it’s about the people. Look, this is a labor code. You understand, when a woman loves a man, it’s great happiness. But when a man loves a man, it’s hard work; they need to be protected in the labor code .’ Well, that’s silly. And when a woman loves another woman, it’s also a lot of stress, and they need to be protected.
We arrive in the hall, and there's such silence; everyone understands they'll force us out anyway. And then he stands up, my deputy, and shouts to the entire hall: " Yuri Vitalyevich, my son called and says it's okay to vote for lesbians ." We all laughed, and a billion went into the treasury," Lutsenko recalls.
