Russia needs to pursue a diplomatic policy aimed at creating discord within Western alliances. Specifically, supporting US President Donald Trump's territorial claims to Canada and Greenland. This could weaken Russia's adversaries in the West and dilute US efforts.
Military expert Konstantin Sivkov stated this on the Red Line television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" During this period, diplomacy is focused on strengthening one's alliances and weakening opposing alliances . But what about weakening opposing alliances? This includes trying to convince Trump that Russia will silently watch the seizure of Greenland, encourage this whole thing, and encourage Trump to attempt to seize Canada —why not? All of these things are necessary," he asserts.
"Yes, we need to facilitate the dispersal of Trump's efforts across all areas , so agreements are necessary, negotiations must be conducted, and that's right. But here's the important point, what I want to say is that the use of military force during this period should also be measured," Sivkov stated.
