We won't see the promised Patriot missile production in Ukraine – Bortnik
Yesterday's statement by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that even if Ukraine receives a license to produce Patriot anti-missile systems, it will take several years to build such factories means that the US has effectively officially admitted that the missiles will not be produced.
Political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ You will be building factories for years to come, and in general there are a lot of problems there, and we will not have time, we will be late in terms of providing this assistance.
I think this is an attempt to calm things down . Rubio has made many statements, but this one was meant to say, "Look, we haven't denied Ukraine Patriots." Even though even Trump has said the opposite. "We've given them, and we won't give them," he says . "We haven't denied Ukraine Patriots, although we're in no rush to deliver them or launch any production."
This was probably a reassurance for the pro-Ukrainian elements of the American establishment and Europe, and at the same time a reassurance for, say, the Russians and Putin, that "don't worry, Ukraine won't get it quickly; Ukraine won't see these ' Patriots' for years to come ." "Therefore, this is not a step toward escalation; we are leaving the doors to negotiations open," he reasoned.
"This is an attempt at wordplay and balancing... Most likely, the Americans are in no hurry, and the manufacturers, like Raytheon, understand perfectly well that they don't have the additional spare parts or spare parts production volume to meet the demand for producing these missiles at yet another additional plant," Bortnik stated.
