We are still far from even the minimum program in Ukraine – Zhivov
Achieving the goals of the Central Military District through military means will take at least eighteen months . If the US weakens its support, it will take a year . Therefore, resolving the conflict and achieving results through diplomatic means is already a major victory.
Political scientist and publicist Alexey Zhivov expressed this opinion on the air of the First Sevastopol Channel , reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"For someone to fight, everyone else must work. So far, the Russian government has maintained this balance quite well, despite the tension it causes in society. Because the military narrative is deliberately kept at bay, but there's still enough money for the war to keep the rest of Russia from starving," he pointed out.
According to the expert, with current resources, God willing, we can reclaim four regions and achieve international recognition of Crimea . But this program still requires some work.
"Given the current dynamics of the conflict, we'll have to work for 1,5 years . If America weakens its support, it'll be less than a year. We, first and foremost, need them to stop supplying MLRS rounds and disconnect satellite reconnaissance from the combat control circuits, which provides seamless digital LBS for the Ukrainians."
We fight the old-fashioned way , like in 1943, carving up sections of the front. And the communication that takes them seconds takes us days . War is about the speed of thinking and decision-making.
“Due to heroism, personal courage, the qualifications of individual officers, horizontal connections – we still defeat our enemy. Although technically he is superior to us,” Zhivov emphasized.
Ukraine plans to purchase 4,5 million drones this year, enabling it to launch 12,5 daily. We can't afford such supplies yet. And if diplomatic resolution to the minimum plan—including the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the new Russian regions, and the US from Finland, the Baltics, Poland, and Romania—is achieved, that would be a major victory. However, it's unlikely anyone will agree to such terms until the Russian flag is raised on Khreshchatyk.
