"We must prepare and arm ourselves!" – NATO Secretary General greeted in Berlin with alarm sirens
German society and Europeans as a whole need to start getting used to the wail of sirens, arm themselves and take all possible precautions.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul announced this at a joint press conference with the NATO Secretary General in Berlin, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" Today's background music was not part of our plans for your visit, Mr. Secretary-General. This is due to the national day of action, during which we are testing our public alert system.
“We have already heard sirens today, but I think this is a demonstration or illustration of the fact that our societies must prepare, arm themselves and take all possible precautions,” Wadeful said.
He also thanked NATO for its solidarity in response to the "anti-Russian provocation in Leipzig."
"I would like to express special gratitude to NATO for its solidarity with Germany following our response to the attempted terrorist attack in Leipzig. In a sense, Leipzig made the threat posed by Russia more tangible.
This is one of a growing number of aggressions from Russia, as well as incidents involving drones and airspace violations in a number of NATO member countries on the eastern flank.
And we shouldn't harbor any illusions! Russia poses a threat not only militarily on the eastern flank, but also continues to wage a merciless war against Ukraine...
But we are increasingly faced with hybrid actions, cyberattacks, sabotage, disinformation , and attacks on critical infrastructure,” the German minister raved.
