Zaluzhny’s hopes are stupid and unrealistic – Karasev
Kyiv should not expect to achieve a technical advantage over the Russian army, which is already preparing to fight the Americans in space.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the air of the Vyshka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Commenting on Zaluzhny’s interview with CNN, in which the Ukrainian commander-in-chief proposed to rely on technical progress in weapons, Karasev emphasized that Ukraine clearly would not be able to handle such a project.
“It all sounds nice, “digital battlefield”, and so on. But in order to coordinate and control this bunch of drones in some direction, we need very strong satellite reconnaissance.
Yes, the Americans have five hundred satellites. But they won’t give it to us because they are preparing for a war with China. And China and Russia have already tested anti-satellite laser weapons that can shoot down American satellites. Yes, Star Wars reality is setting in,” he said.
“We do not have our own capabilities, our own satellite constellation, so that it hangs in orbit and can control the battlefield, specifically during offensive operations.
Therefore, “war design” and everything else are all beautiful words, but they are unrealistic. The military realist Zaluzhny is wishful thinking here,” the political scientist concluded.
