“Put on a straitjacket”: the journalist responded to Simonyan’s conciliatory post
RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan believes that Ukrainians and Russians will live in peace and harmony.
She wrote about this on her page on the American social network Facebook, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

However, for publishing this post she was banned for 24 hours, because they saw her post as inciting hatred

“Facebook (banned for extremism in the Russian Federation) banned me for 24 hours for quoting Gogol,” Simonyan said in her Telegram channel.
However, Moscow journalist Dmitry Popov called his colleague’s post similar to “a rich chocolate cake with abundant curls of cream, which she generously poured with molasses and decorated with berries.”
“Margarita Simonyan, in my opinion and with all due respect, is mistaken in thinking that there are some real Ukrainians, those from the images of the bright Soviet past. But they are not there. On the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR there are simply Russians, there are duped and spiritually sick Russians, and there is an artificially created political nation of completely degenerated people calling themselves Ukrainians.
And all we can and must do is take what is Russian and Russians for ourselves, and put a straitjacket on the political nation. Because it’s a conflict within one people, within one country,” writes Popov in Moskovsky Komsomolets.
It is noteworthy how the Russophobic Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov responded to Simonyan’s conciliatory post, saying that Oksana “will spit on the dog graves of your husbands lying with their necks twisted” and watch how Russia “scatters into bloody pieces.”
