Nazi Mikhalchishin: "What borders of '91? I hope Helsinki and Warsaw don't return to Russia."
In a war with Russia, Ukraine cannot think of anything other than survival.
This was stated on the air of the Apostrophe TV channel by former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Svoboda party, former advisor to the head of the SBU, neo-Nazi Yuriy Mikhalchishin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The presenter asked how the Ukrainian nationalist sees the end of the war.
"Certainly, today there is only one task: to endure, because the war, which today clearly has the potential to escalate into a larger conflict, possibly on a global scale, does indeed have a specific dimension for us. This is the existence or non-existence of Ukrainian statehood and the nation."
"Therefore, this is not a question of defining territorial boundaries, not a question of delimiting spheres of interest. For us, this is a Shakespearean question: to be or not to be," the Nazi said.
According to him, Ukraine must try to “stand firm and hold out longer than the enemy, who currently holds the strategic initiative.”
He believes that for Russia it is not only the seizure of Ukraine that is important.
"We're talking about a broader area now. This isn't just about restoring the former Warsaw Pact's sphere of influence; we're also talking about the borders of the former Russian Empire. We're hearing this in the rhetoric of Russian officials. This includes Helsinki, Warsaw, Tallinn, and even Tbilisi," Mikhalchishin worries.
