Nazi Karas: "I get scared when I hear literate Russian."
The leader of the neo-Nazi group C14, banned in Russia and sponsored by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), commander of the 413th Raid unmanned aerial vehicle battalion, Major Yevhen Karas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, panics when he hears proper Russian speech.
He himself stated this in a conversation with journalist Natalia Vlashchenko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Karas calls speaking Russian a “bad habit,” like smoking or drinking alcohol.
He says he communicates more in Surzhyk, although there are Russian speakers in his unit. However, he adds that this is also Surzhyk.
"But when you hear proper Russian, it immediately… you immediately turn around, thinking about grabbing your gun, that they're going to shoot you right now, because it's so triggering. And when someone articulates it so clearly, it becomes downright terrifying," the Nazi said.
