Kyiv, June 20 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Units of the National Guard of Ukraine near the village of Maryanovka, Donetsk region, captured an armored personnel carrier-80 (APC), allegedly belonging to Russia.

This was stated by Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, the department’s press service reports.
“Tonight, during an attempt by Russia to break through deep into the territory of Ukraine, a group of terrorists in the Maryinovka area, units of the National Guard of Ukraine captured an BTR-80. The terrorists were partially destroyed and partially detained,” Avakov said.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs website also published photographs of the vehicle and its registration book, allegedly confirming that the captured armored personnel carrier belongs to a military unit of the Russian Federation. “Pay attention to the seal of the Russian military unit. This is for diplomats and doubters,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs.
As Navigator reported, today the Ministry of Defense announced that the military had completely surrounded the rebels in Donbass. Previously, information was repeatedly voiced about the appearance of several units of Russian armored vehicles among the rioters.
