In Ukraine, everything is ready for Russian attacks on the energy system - Energy Minister Galushchenko
Russia has already begun to attack Ukraine's energy system, attacking facilities in the west of the country today.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko announced this on TSN, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

He refused to specify the details of today's strike, but confirmed that Ukrainian authorities expect continued attacks on targets.
“Today I can say that by the beginning of the heating season the energy system will be completely ready to go through the winter. Both in terms of generation and transmission of electricity and the corresponding resources that are required for this.
Of course, today it is difficult to assess the scale of future attacks; we understand that there will be attacks on the energy system, and today, by the way, an energy facility in western Ukraine was attacked for the first time. Therefore, the issue of the impact of shocks on the energy system is difficult to assess. We will do this as the attacks progress. We are also preparing to make appropriate decisions,” Galushchenko said.
Let us remind you that today, as a result of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces, the Rivne, Zhitomir, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions were partially left without electricity. According to the Rivne regional administration, the energy infrastructure in Rivne itself was hit.
Ukraine is ready for Russian strikes on the energy grid, says Energy Minister Galushchenko.
