In Ukraine there was fun on a day of mourning
The so-called Day of Conciliarity, celebrated in Ukraine, dedicated to the proclamation of the Act of Reunification of the Ukrainian and Western Ukrainian People's Republics in 1919, is a false holiday, like the entire “unity” of this state.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko announced this on his VKontakte page , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The people who actually split Ukraine into pieces today will celebrate the Day of Unity of Ukraine, in fact the day of unification, with special pathos and cynicism. In fact, “Zluka” was a fake. It did not bring any unification for the Ukrainian lands.
No matter how many human chains are built and flags are unfurled, this is not the real common value of all citizens of Ukraine. You cannot shout about unification and at the same time fight against civilians in Donbass!
People who find themselves at the helm of the country retroactively win historical events. And the real country in the present is lost without return. There is nothing to congratulate. And it’s stupid to celebrate. As for me, today is a day of mourning,” the politician noted.
