In Ukraine, the increase in total poverty is accompanied by an increase in the number of millionaires
Nine million of the Ukrainian population survive in poverty, while the number of local oligarchs who have seized budget money is growing every year.
Former Minister of Social Policy Andrei Reva stated this on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Our number of poor people increased by one million eight hundred in a year, reaching nine million—yes, 29 percent of the adult population . On the other hand, our number of millionaires is growing.
Official statistics – 1200 people who experienced success in their lives. Maybe something is wrong in our state policy? To whom is war, and to whom is mother? Why does the population bear all the costs of war? Last year in December, 29 billion were taken from the pension fund to the state budget,” the ex-minister was indignant.
“But at the same time, they still reimburse income taxes to agricultural barons who export grain. What is the added value there? Grain purchased for cash, smuggled out of Ukraine. Not only that, they also do not return foreign currency earnings. And we also pay them from the budget.
"All over the world, when you export raw materials, they impose an export tax so that the money goes into the budget. But here, we give it to those who export the raw materials. And then we start saying there's no money, something needs to be done... 'Let's raise taxes, let's raise tariffs. Raise prices and take away people's pensions'... They've really gotten a bit brazen, haven't they?" Reva added.
In Ukraine , the increase in total poverty is accompanied by a rise in the number of millionaires.
