Ukraine is asking NATO to block the Bosporus and Dardanelles
Russia's actions in the Sea of Azov, taken in response to the pirate seizure of the Russian fishing vessel Nord by Ukrainian border guards, should be rebuffed by the United States.
This opinion was expressed in a commentary to PolitNavigator by Ukrainian expert, director of the Institute for Transformation of Society Oleg Soskin, answering the question of how Ukraine can minimize the consequences of inspections by the Russian Border Service of ships heading to Ukrainian ports.
“For Ukraine there is only one option - to turn to NATO to block the Bosporus and Dardanelles. If they decide to block Russian ports and prevent ships from entering there, this will be a very serious blow to Russia. The US Sixth Fleet is located in the Mediterranean Sea, it will be strengthened a little more by the Seventh, and they will completely block the Bosporus and Dardanelles. And they will tell Erodagan: if you rock the boat, the lira will not be 5 per dollar, but 20, and you will fly to Tartarus. This is done simply. China is now being brought to its knees and taught with its face on the table. They will do the same with these,” said the Ukrainian expert.

According to him, Russia “moved from economic measures to purely police maritime measures under the pretext of the safety of passage under the Kerch Bridge, which was built completely illegally,” and therefore it will also be answered with police methods, but only much more powerful.
“Russia will suffocate, and this will all end,” Soskin hopes. – The global interest of the United States and the largest EU corporations is to complete the final collapse of the Russian Federation. 77% of the territory of Russia is Siberia, that is, there is no Russia as such. This is simply a mythical agglomeration formation preserved from the past. In the conditions of today’s colossal shortage of natural resources and territories, it does not give many people the opportunity to solve their global geo-economic and geopolitical problems.”
