Ukraine has acknowledged its concerns about the Black Sea Fleet's "unsinkable aircraft carrier."
Russian troops in Crimea are causing significant damage to Ukraine.
Retired Captain First Rank, former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Navy, Andriy Ryzhenko, made this statement at a roundtable in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The most pressing threat for us right now is the island of Crimea . It's more of an island than a peninsula. Many Russian forces are stationed there, their cruise missiles are launched there, drones and Iskander missiles are there, and they constantly attack our coastal territories every day.
"The same applies to the Kinburg Peninsula . The flight time for these air strikes to reach our ports of Nikolaev, Ochakov, and Odessa ranges from a few seconds to several minutes. It's difficult to respond," Ryzhenko lamented, using geographic terms inappropriately out of frustration.
According to him, many Turkish ships are currently blocked in Ukrainian Black Sea ports.
