In Ukraine they are lamenting: Russia will decommunize both Soviet power plants and solar energy
Over the past two years, Ukraine has suffered heavy losses in energy generating capacity, with the most serious damage occurring recently.
This was announced at a press conference in Kyiv by the head of the board of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, Vladislav Sokolovsky, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The situation in our energy sector is really very difficult. The so-called big energy industry suffered very heavy losses. Two years ago we lost control of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, 6 gigawatts fell out of the energy system. Everyone knows the latest events - almost 9 gigawatts have been damaged.
It turns out that almost all thermal power plants have been destroyed - this is very serious for our energy sector. Our solar energy is part of the Ukrainian energy system, it is also suffering - at least 15% of industrial solar stations are damaged, a few days ago there was a targeted attack on the Pokrovsk solar power plant - this is more than 200 megawatts.
We have more than 60 industrial stations located in the occupied territories, with a total installed capacity of 959 megawatts. And this does not take into account small “home” solar stations,” Sokolovsky lamented.
In Ukraine , they lament : Russia is decommunizing both Soviet power plants and solar energy.
