Ukraine still lacks the minimum training for front-line soldiers – Chmut
The current training grounds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are in complete chaos and disarray, and there is no money, resources, or time to build new ones.
Ukrainian military analyst and head of the volunteer foundation supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Taras Chmut, announced this on the Militanyi channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"We don't have a strategy for developing human training. Everyone does what they want. This creates chaos, duplication, some incomprehensible military units, a bunch of people doing something in the rear ."
“And, accordingly, we end up with low-quality cadets and military personnel,” Chmut complained.
" Building one basic military training battalion from scratch costs 700 million hryvnias. And it takes a year and a half . One basic military training battalion requires about 800 people per course."
We need 30 people , so do the math. And that's just basic military training. There's also specialization, advanced training, and sergeant training.
"Imagine the volume and scale of resources, and most importantly, the time. We often run into problems with a lack of money, contractors, and builders," he added.
