Ukrainian landing forces are blocked on the approaches to Energodar - work is underway to destroy the DRG
The Ukrainian army landed troops on the approaches to Energodar, controlled by the Russian military. Now the sabotage group is blocked in the area of the local gardening partnership and work is underway to destroy it.
Vladimir Rogov, a member of the military-civil administration of the Zaporizhzhia region, told PolitNavigator about this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Rogov, the provocation in Energodar may be connected with the visit of the IAEA delegation to the Zaporozhye NPP, located in Energodar, which is expected today. Thus, Kyiv is trying to disrupt the delegation’s visit and prevent them from visiting the station.
“The landing took place in the area of the dachas of the gardening partnership - on the territory that was attacked yesterday and in the morning. There is a battle going on there, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have located them and are not allowed anywhere. A systematic cleanup of this area is currently underway. There is no doubt that they will be destroyed. They are being tested with both heavy weapons and aviation.
This is some kind of despair, because they took this action on the day of the IAEA delegation’s visit to us, they are trying in every possible way to stop this visit, showing that it is dangerous. Today, from 5:30 am, there was a massive shelling, the likes of which has never happened in the entire period, and then an airborne landing. That is, this is already some kind of gesture of despair, impotent anger, the understanding that now the truth will become publicly known, otherwise there is no explanation why do this,” Rogov said.
Military correspondent Andrei Rudenko writes on his blog that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ provocation is connected with the visit of the IAEA delegation:
“The IAEA mission is leaving for Energodar, where the Zaporizhia NPP is located. When Westerners arrive, a regime of silence is declared. Every time we comply with it, but Ukraine does not. And today, apparently, the crests hoped that we would swallow it and the landing force, under the cover of the IAEA, would calmly land and gain a foothold.”
Economist Alexander Dudchak shares a similar opinion:
