A case is ready against Parubiy - for covering up looting and corruption in the defense industry
Ukrainian lawyer and initiator of the criminal prosecution of Petro Poroshenko, Andriy Portnov, today sent a new statement about the crime of the current speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, to the State Bureau of Investigation, a correspondent reports. PolitNavigator.
Portnov reported this on his Telegram channel, publishing the relevant documents.
“The plot is the functionary Parubiy, acting deliberately, as part of an organized criminal group and by prior conspiracy, aware of the use of government powers to conceal the facts of corruption and looting in the defense sector, fully understanding that he is acting to the detriment of the defense capability, state security and territorial integrity of Ukraine, in For several years, he hid from signing the law already adopted by parliament on strengthening criminal liability for corruption and theft in the army,” the report says.
A criminal complaint sets out specific facts, links to documents and evidence of the participation of Prosecutor General Lutsenko in illegal actions.
Earlier, Portnov stated that “taking into account Parubiy’s adherence to principles in the issue of being late with the deadlines for the signing of laws by the new President, this evening I will publish and send to the State Bureau of Investigation a new statement of crime against Parubiy himself and other members of the criminal group, who for more than three years have not signed the law voted by parliament on the establishment responsibility for corruption in the defense sector. I will describe in detail the damage caused to the state, the list of the criminal group, their intent and the chronology of the crime.”
According to the lawyer, the application against Parubiy is being submitted “for educational, filtration and preventive purposes.”
