On Lviv TV they demand “not to stop the war even for a day”
Any pause in the confrontation between Russia and Ukraine will only play into Moscow’s hands.
Ukrainian military expert Alexander Kovalenko stated this on the air of the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The fact that this war will not end in a month, two, three months, I am sure of that. Even after six months. It will be very good if it ends in 2023 with the de-occupation of the island of Crimea, at which time the mainland of Ukraine should be de-occupied, according to its mainland borders recognized in 1991. That is, we are now saying that hostilities will continue at least until 23,” the expert said.
“It cannot be otherwise. No pauses. Because we will not have a second chance to return our territories. Any pause, any suspended animation of confrontation will lead to Russia actually gaining more power in order to capture more territories, in order to strengthen its defense positions in the already captured territories. And we should not allow this to happen,” the expert concluded.
