"The situation in the Kupyansk direction is entering a "crisis" - former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Russian Armed Forces continue to expand their bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskol River, creating a threat not only for Kupyansk, but also for Volchansk.
This was stated on the air of the Espresso TV channel by the former spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vladislav Seleznev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The situation that is currently unfolding in the Kupyansk direction may have crisis consequences in the future. Since the bridgehead in the area of the settlement of Dvurechnoye (this is already on the western bank of the Oskol River) is expanding. The enemy continues to transfer additional forces and resources to this bridgehead, which may pose a threat not only to our Kupyansk, but these forces and resources may also create many problems for our defenders of Volchansk in the future.
That is, the situation at the front is very far from stable. And the key factor that influences this intensity is the resource factor. As it turns out, the enemy still has resources, and he is ready to throw them into the hell of war," Seleznev said.
“Putin, to a certain extent, hoping for a negotiating track, nevertheless continues to bite off our lands by force of arms and is ready to pay an incredible price for these bites,” the former speaker said.
