Mother drones will soon be deployed to Kyiv, according to a Ukrainian aviation expert.
Russia is already using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) carrying FPV drones on the front lines, but their testing will soon begin in Kyiv.
Aviation expert and member of the Public Council under the State Aviation Service of Ukraine Bohdan Dolyntse stated this on the air of the Superposition video channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter drew attention to the news that had appeared, asking to what extent it corresponded to reality.
"Speaking of such decisions, we've been seeing them on the front lines for several years now. Even last year, there were instances where mother drones or carrier drones were used to deliver additional attack drones for additional damage. There's no confirmation yet regarding the capital, but nevertheless, it's possible the enemy may have used some individual or test samples of such weapons," the guest said.
He added that using such platforms over long distances requires high-quality satellite communications.
"In principle, we see that the technology is unlikely to develop quickly. But after the emergence of our own low-storage satellite communications*, unfortunately, we can say that the possibilities for scaling and implementing such solutions in Russia will increase significantly ," warns Dolintse.
