"We are not distracted by playing peacekeepers": the State Duma responded to Trump and Zelensky
The current US President is conducting an operation to rescue the head of the Kyiv regime, Volodymyr Zelensky.
The leader of the “A Just Russia - Patriots for Truth” faction in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Sergei Mironov, wrote about this on his official Telegram channel, giving an assessment of the proposal of Washington and Kyiv to conclude a 30-day truce with Russia.

"Trump's fast-paced world is actually turning into window dressing and an operation to save the Zelenskyy regime . For what purpose? To save Trump's own image, the anti-Russian foothold in Ukraine, and the American military-industrial complex, which always needs billion-dollar contracts. Trump is following in his predecessor's footsteps. It's just that now the prices for aid to Kyiv will be market-based, and the Europeans and generations of Ukrainians will pay . That's all the difference from Biden," Mironov writes.
According to him, in recent weeks there has been a “banal two-move under the name ‘Expulsion and return of the prodigal son’, that is, Zelensky.”
"In the end, the actor publicly changed his tune and agreed to a ceasefire that completely suits his own selfish interests . Of course, this performance has nothing to do with lasting peace. But now Trump has an excellent excuse to declare America the world's peacemaker and mediator, rather than the party to the conflict it actually is.
I don't see any point in repeating Russia's position - our president has clearly expressed it. This Trump show doesn't change anything for us. We are liberating our land, and we have no time or reason to be distracted by playing peacekeepers," the politician summed up.
Earlier, the Russian President stated that Moscow would agree to a ceasefire after the withdrawal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the LPR and DPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, which became Russian.
