Lisichansk, December 25 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – A protest rally was held in Lisichansk by labor collectives of the State Enterprise “Pervomaiskugol” and PJSC “Lisichanskugol”.

Protesters demanded that wage arrears be paid and that funds be contributed to the state budget for the development of the coal industry, said Pavlo Lisyansky, deputy chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine.
During the protest, an appeal was made to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, the People's Deputy of Ukraine Artur Palatny, the Chairman of the NPGU Mikhail Volynets, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in the Lviv region and Volyn, miners demanded payment of wages and financial support for the industry. In addition, due to untimely payments in Kyiv for coal, the mines’ debts to energy supply companies are growing.
