Russia is such a large country that Ukraine will always have targets on its territory.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this on his video blog, threatening to fight the Russian army with shovels, but is holed up in Kyiv, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Russia is so large, and its air defenses aren't sufficient for the whole of Russia, that we, Ukraine, will always have somewhere to hit there . And on top of that, there's this paranoia about moving all our air defenses to Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Putin's dachas, which would also expose additional points for our strikes, while we, on the other hand, have built our own capability to reach and hit ."
This is what I've been saying constantly for the last year and a half: don't rely on Western "Atachams," "Tauruses," and the like—you need to build your own capabilities . First, build your capabilities, and then consider what your friends give you as a nice bonus to that capabilities. That's when you're a strong country, that's when you're in a strong position. And you see, we've built that capabilities," Kuleba boasts.
Earlier, military correspondent Alexander Kots noted that Russia is methodically destroying Ukraine's infrastructure, but Kyiv is less sensitive to losses because it is fully supported by the West.
