Former adviser to the Ukrainian Presidential Administration, Oleksiy Arestovich (recognized as an extremist in the Russian Federation), stated this in a conversation with foreign agent Oleksandr Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" It's just a story set aside . I prefer to be honest. I say right away: 'Okay, I would withdraw troops from the front line in Donetsk and focus on reforming the part of Ukraine that remains .'"
We need to solve our own problems, that's all. They're wasting resources on endless war, waiting for the remaining territory to collapse.
Look, what's the problem with accumulated fatigue? We're hoarding it so we don't give up the rest of Donetsk, but it could build up and crack, and we'll lose all of Ukraine.
"It's not the Russians who are in the internal conflict, the civil war, the physical impossibility of living in this Ukraine due to the loss of infrastructure, industry, and everything else. They didn't consider that we could flush the remaining 80% of Ukraine down the toilet for the remaining 2% of the Donetsk region ," Arestovich stated.
