Ukraine is already building defensive lines beyond Slavyansk and Kramatorsk and hopes that the Russian offensive will be stopped this year.
Ukrainian military correspondent Bohdan Papadin stated this on the Dnipro TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Photos have surfaced of new defensive lines being built behind Kramatorsk and Slovyansk , although we should have realized this earlier. And there are many other things we need to address now, because later it will be too late ," Papadin worries.
He hopes that there will be a “stabilization of the front line in the Dnipropetrovsk region, in the Donetsk region, in the Zaporizhzhia region.”
The Ukrainian military correspondent considers the most important task to be " the creation of a kill zone where the enemy will suffer maximum losses and will not be able to reach the attack line."
