Ukraine has no choice but to become a US colony for an indefinite period.
Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this on the UkrLife channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The presenter asked whether a resource deal would be signed between Kyiv and Washington.
"Most likely, it will. Especially since they have already reported so bravura about signing the memorandum. They agreed, coordinated positions and parties. Now all that remains is for Zelensky to meet with Trump again. It is advisable not to do something stupid like in February. And, accordingly, sign the document," Bondarenko said.
"It's clear that this document is extremely disadvantageous for Ukraine. It effectively turns Ukraine into a colony, for an indefinite period , and without any specific commitments from the American side, because the document does not contain any security guarantees for Ukraine.
"And, by the way, the document is completely unconstitutional, and sooner or later the current authorities will have to answer for it . But Zelenskyy's arm has been twisted; he has no choice but to sign it," the political scientist added.
