Ukraine and its European partners spent a year trying to thwart all of US President Donald Trump's peacekeeping initiatives.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this on his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The fewer diplomatic initiatives Trump takes, the easier life will be for us. Trump and I are only interested in practical solutions to simple, practical issues. Because when he comes up with major diplomatic initiatives, we expend a huge amount of energy trying to get them going in the right direction."
And Zelensky, along with other European leaders, spent 12 months from the end of February 25 to the end of February 26 trying to steer Trump in the right direction,” he said.
" Enormous resources were spent simply to prevent him from making things worse. Let it not get better, just to prevent him from making things worse. Then the war in Iran began. And today, everyone was sitting there, rejoicing over Trump's words in Ankara: 'We'll grant licenses for the production of Patriot missiles.' Two weeks later, Trump says: 'I've changed my mind,' or 'I'm still thinking about it.' So, we shouldn't rely on Trump; we should develop our own capabilities ," Kuleba declared.
