There is nothing easier and cheaper than winning crushing results on paper and in the media space. All it takes is to release a specially trained ass or even go to the microphone yourself, with a tired face announce “we worked hard” and return to your favorite sofa to watch on TV how all sorts of lackeys and mackerel from the media are hitting the serve from above.

So showman Donald Trump two days ago announced the exclusive victory of the United States over the hordes of ISIS in Syria, adding that the American Moor has done the job and will now begin to withdraw his uninvited contingent. Yes, and everyone stand up and do “All Hail US Army!”

It is clear that no one in the world believed this statement by Trump. Firstly, because everyone is in the know and in general, if you don’t praise yourself, then no one will praise you. Secondly, in world practice there has never been a case where the Yankees went home at their own request from the places where they came in large numbers with their humanitarian bombings. In those rare cases when they did go back to their Kansas and Oklahoma lands, the indigenous people really asked them to do so, accompanying their requests with heavy kicks.

But that’s why people exist, wiping up information puddles left by top officials of states. So that everyone could understand what Big Boss really wanted to say.

On the same day, after Trump, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders spoke, confirming that the United States and the coalition under its leadership had indeed won a terrible victory over ISIS, but this does not mean that everyone can now go home. The coalition remains intact, the campaign in Syria continues, the process is simply moving “to a new phase.”

Sanders via CNN, who in turn tweeted to the whole world via Twitter that the coalition remains “to ensure American interests and prevent the threat of Islamism.”

For some reason, numerous experts did not react to the second part of the official statement, and began to suck at Trump’s message about the withdrawal of troops from Syria.

While experts were running around with a bone thrown to them, guessing with a daisy and building beautiful theories, on December 20, at a press conference, the Russian president put everything in its place, answering a question from a Chicago Tribune correspondent.

Without getting into petty showdowns with his American counterpart, who has the most impressive frag count, Putin simply said: “We saw no signs of the withdrawal of American troops from Syria.” And he added that ISIS in Syria has indeed been seriously weakened, but there is a danger of the Barmaley scraps flowing into other countries. For example, to Afghanistan, neighboring Syria, and, which is completely undesirable, returning them to their place of residence.

Thanks to the cooperation of Russia, the legitimate Syrian government, Iran and Turkey, acting on behalf of the opposition, the process of political settlement began in the country through the creation of a constitutional committee. A plan for working with the moderate opposition has been developed. Moreover: all documents on this issue have been transferred to the UN.

But there is also bad news. The coalition led by the United States, which includes France, Germany and other countries, has completely frozen out and pretends that there is no constitutional committee and that this does not concern them. And at the UN, in the department for the Syrian problem, headed by Mr. de Mistura, they also went into deep ignorance.

However, the Russian president expresses hope that the plan will be agreed upon with the UN, and the political settlement in Syria will move to the final stage - if not at the end of this year, then at the beginning of next year.

To finally dot the i’s, Putin said that American troops were not needed in Syria, no one invited them there, and the UN Security Council did not issue a mandate for their presence. And in general, without the Americans in Syria, everyone would be calmer, and peace could be established much faster. But since everything happened this way, interaction and exchange of information have been established between the military and intelligence services.

At a meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian permanent representative Vasily Nebenzya told coalition partners that the legitimacy of the constitutional committee is determined by the consent of the Syrian parties, not Western countries. As for the withdrawal of American troops from Syria, announced by President Trump, “trust but verify.”

In general, the United States continues to follow the path of declarative statements. The same is true of promises to withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, and Obama generally made the topic of troop withdrawal part of his election campaign. And what is the result? Accepted the baton of promises

from him is President Trump. There is no doubt that even after Trump there will be someone to continue this vile tradition.
