Ukraine will not be able to regain the territories lost after 2014.

Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich stated this on the air of the Alpha and Omega internet channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Arestovich, entering into negotiations with Russia without taking into account the restoration of previous borders is possible within the framework of a pan-European security dialogue.

“We, of course, will not return the territories of 91 in this round, most likely. But we definitely will not go through the format of defeating Ukraine, defeating a broken will, regardless of the volume of territories held, and agreeing to all the conditions of the aggressor.

Therefore, these negotiations are possible, possible on a pan-European or global scale, touching on a bunch of problems, a collective security system. But definitely not on the terms of our defeat,” Arestovich said.
