Ukraine's Chief Military Prosecutor, Anatoly Matios, stated this on the 112 TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent , explaining why the Ukrainian government is not producing captured Russians who are allegedly fighting in Donbas.
“Five brigades, three separate regiments, eight separate battalions, two separate companies, five territorial defense battalions, about 18 thousand military personnel in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic alone. 320 tanks, 600 armored combat vehicles, 250 guns, 130 multiple launch rocket systems - this is what appeared from the military trade in the Donetsk region. This is only the Donetsk region, there are also statistics for others. They may accuse me or the armed forces of why there are so few Russians. We are not at war with Russia - we stand for this, we do not fight, we stand for the Minsk process, so that the metastases of the imbalance of our state and the encroachment on sovereignty do not go further.
