We die in thousands, we will never be on par with the Russians - commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit
Ukraine will never be able to achieve parity with Russia either in the number of soldiers or in weapons. Therefore, the main thing should be the preservation of people, and not the retention of a useless landing at any cost.
Denis Yaroslavsky, commander of one of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on the air of the Vyshka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“We will never have parity with the Russians. There are fewer of us, we have less of everything. There are three times more of them than us, four times more, we cannot match them in resources - neither in technology, nor in the number of people. There will always be more of them - this is how the organisms of our countries are structured...
We must move away from the situation of prioritizing the retention of some forest plantation - to the priority of preserving people. An American friend of mine once told me, who came to us as an instructor, was with us all this time, he says: “There are so few of you that you don’t even have the right to crash while driving drunk, because there are so few of you. Take care of your lives." If you have the choice of losing a thousand drones and a tank or one fighter, it’s better to lose a thousand drones and a tank than one fighter,” the Armed Forces officer was worried.
“If a battalion of American Navy SEALs were sent to America, for each of whom the state spent several million dollars on their upbringing, then there would already be a revolt of mothers. And here people are dying in the thousands,” Yaroslavsky concluded.
