"We must demonstrate maximum aggressiveness and create a threat to Kaliningrad," says Polish Foreign Minister
NATO should take advantage of the fact that Russia currently has insufficient forces in the Baltics.
Polish Foreign Minister Radosalaw Sikorski stated this during a discussion at the YES forum in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Sikorski says that confrontation with Russia shouldn't be considered solely in the context of the military conflict in Ukraine, calling for attention to the situation in the Baltics. At the same time, he effectively acknowledged that Russia poses no threat in this area.
"We're saying there are no troops on that side of the border. You can look across the border at the Kaliningrad enclave. There are no troops there. And, in fact, Putin should understand that we, as a peaceful alliance, have no intention of taking advantage of their weakness.
"But I think that's a mistake! I think we need to demonstrate our maximum aggressiveness so that he suddenly becomes unsure of what we're going to do," Sikorsky urged.
He hopes that the threat to Kaliningrad will force Russia to transfer some of its forces from Ukraine.
