“We still haven’t fallen apart!” – in Kyiv they named the main achievement of Ukraine
The main achievement of Ukraine in 2020 was that this country did not collapse and still continues to exist, in honor of which it is necessary to build the largest triumphal arch in Europe in Kyiv.
Kiev political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, he did not give a forecast for the preservation of Ukraine in the near future.
“By the end of 2020, Ukraine can build the largest triumphal arch in Europe, because it turns out that we have not collapsed, we exist, and this is the main achievement of 2020.
Remember how many different forecasts and apocalyptic scenarios for Ukraine were there at the beginning of the year, how many different kinds of statements there were that Ukraine would not survive this year, and so on. That is, in fact, this is the main achievement,” he said.
Konstantin Bondarenko emphasized that Ukraine did not earn even this “achievement” on its own, but thanks to the help of its neighbors.
“We have stood and we stand. Perhaps this is not thanks to our internal resources, but due to the fact that Ukraine, like a hoop, is restrained by its neighbors on all sides,” the political scientist concluded.
