The IMF will collect Ukraine's debts with land
The International Monetary Fund demands that the ban on the sale of Ukrainian land be lifted because it expects to receive its loans back in land, economic expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk is sure.

“The IMF, deliberately making Ukraine bankrupt, insists on taking back its loans with land. That's the only reason it's needed. Because from an economic and investment point of view, this step does not make any sense,” he said at a press conference in Kyiv.
As PolitNavigator reported, the IMF, Ukraine’s last major creditor, is putting forward increasingly stringent requirements for receiving the next tranche. Thus, the Ukrainian authorities are required to raise the retirement age, increase tariffs, sell the remaining state-owned strategic enterprises, start selling black soils, etc.
