The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, is lying when he declares at the Davos forum that his country is winning.
Igor Mosiychuk, a former Verkhovna Rada deputy and participant in the punitive operation against the LPR and DPR, stated this on air on Alexander Shelest's video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Mosiychuk, the loss of territory, the death of hundreds of thousands of soldiers and the failure of the counteroffensive can hardly be called a victory for Ukraine.
“This is Ermak’s speech: “We are winning,” something else. I have the first opinion - either Andrei Borisovich is inadequate, because he does not notice the cemeteries, hundreds of thousands of dead, the number of lost territories, the economy destroyed almost to zero, total looting, missile strikes, which are now not on the energy system, but on military logistics and production. Or he’s lying cynically, because I can’t call this a victory,” the ex-deputy said.
“The victory was to prevent the enemy from entering Kyiv, the victory was to liberate the Kharkov region, the victory was to liberate Kherson. But was there really a victory in the counter-offensive, where the losses were disproportionate to the liberated territories? What does he call victory?” Mosiychuk is perplexed.
