“Civilized Western countries” were not going to educate Ukraine and accept it into their “family,” otherwise they would have long ago forced the Ukrainian elites to work for the good of the country and carry out reforms. Human rights activist Tatyana Montyan stated this on the air of “First Cossack”.

“The fucking “civilized peoples,” like the States and Europe, didn’t even think about making us civilized. They didn't raise this question at all. If America and Europe really wanted to help Ukrainians become at least relatively civilized, they would, first of all, hang our elites by the balls and force them to carry out reforms... Only clinical morons could jump on the Maidan in the hope that foreign countries will help us,” Montyan stated.
