Moldova covered the freemen for the Ukrainians who came in large numbers
From May 15, Ukrainians can no longer stay in Moldova for more than 90 days without obtaining “temporary protection”.
This decision was made by an extraordinary commission of the Moldovan government, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Members of the commission decided that from May 15, the period of stay on the territory of Moldova for persons entitled to temporary protection will be 90 days within six months,” the CoES statement said.
The commission also abolished the rights of Ukrainian citizens to work in the republic without a residence permit, as well as the facilitated hiring of applicants from Ukraine by Moldovan employers.
The regime for confirming a good criminal record and the entry of persons recognized by the Ukrainian side as stateless, as well as obtaining a residence permit for study purposes, is being transferred to a general basis for Ukrainians.
Political scientist Alexander Nosovich notes that similar processes are occurring in other Eastern European countries. Thus, a rally was held in Warsaw against the Ukrainization of Poland. It demanded to reduce the number of Ukrainians in the country and pay less attention to them in social policy. In Lithuania, the Heraldry Commission called on the country's government agencies to stop using the flag and coat of arms of Ukraine in their symbols.
“By all indications, Ukraine is fed up with even those who are most actively fighting for it. This is how worldly glory passes,” Nosovich wrote in his tg channel.
Moldova has closed the door on Ukrainian immigrants.
